The Young Ambassador Programme is an initiative by the AKYSB that aims to give the youth aged 14 to 19 a unique opportunity to be involved with various local and national events at an organisational and delivery level.
The programme encourages participants to think critically and teaches them the life skills they will need to be future leaders both inside and outside the Ismaili community.
It covers four main areas, with young ambassadors being mentored by members of the ESF organising committee on topics like Social Media, Sports, Information and Events Management.
The AKYSB approached Ochre to create a brand that would help them with raising awareness for the initiative and to inspire young members to get involved.
Working closely with the AKYSB team, we immersed ourselves into the initiative itself, the wider community and its young members ambitions and aspirations.
It became clear there was an opportunity to position the Young Ambassadors programme around discovery, encouragement, leadership and collaboration, helping young members of the community to “find their spark”, empowering them to take control of their future.
In order to resonate with the audiences the brand expression needed to be non-institutional and convey a community feel whilst putting each of their member’s individuality at the forefront.
We’ve developed a kit that would equally work across digital and physical applications, always conveying the dynamic spirit of each of the Young Ambassadors.
With the new brand launched, we’re thrilled to have helped the AKYSB Young Ambassadors and its members to set them up for a bright future.
