GITEX Global, the region’s most sought after tech exhibition, brings together international tech enterprises and some of Silicon Valley’s upcoming startups. Global and regional companies exhibit at GITEX in anticipation of high-value new business deals, future-empowering innovations and government partnerships.
With the Expo now live and it’s imminent transition drawing closer, District 2020’s presence at GITEX provides a key opportunity to speak to its target audience.
Inheriting all the cutting-edge infrastructure and key assets of Expo 2020, District 2020 is a truly human-centric city of the future designed to enable a smarter, more balanced way of life. This naturally attracts global talent, facilitating a thriving habitat for SMEs and multi-nationals to collaborate within what the District has envisioned a ‘Global Innovation Ecosystem’.
Designed around a projection dome that offers a 180 degree immersive viewing experience, we helped visitors realise the bigger picture as well as various opportunities (such as key programs and initiatives) to be part of the community. Whilst one side brings to life the Innovation Ecosystem and all its working parts, the other showcases lifestyle elements with clear opportunities to ‘Live, Work and Explore’ at District 2020.
Complementing the detail showcases are two large facades built out of LED mesh, broadcasting dynamic content and key headline messaging surrounding the District.
The three day event attracted diverse audiences to our pavilion, from entrepreneurs, investors, local government representatives to some famous social media personalities including football freestyle world champion Séan Garnier, performing on the last day of the show. Following this reception, District 2020 have retained the pavilion and moved it to a more permanent location at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo 2020, for the next six months.
